Spark Power, a trusted partner in energy in North America, we are looking for an IT Business Analyst to join our Oakville team. Our primary drivers of this team works closely with stakeholders both internally and externally to deliver high quality and scalable solutions in software applications and business processes within the Spark Power organization. The individual in the role is driven to collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure the optimization of applications and business processes that support the organization. The successful applicant will be part of a team to maintain and develop a portfolio of applications and integrations that aligns with the organization’s strategic objectives. Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to the following :

What will you do as the IT Business Analyst?

• Drive the collection and translation of business requirements into detailed system and technical requirements
• Facilitate progress on small to medium sized projects
• Understand and contribute to the overall design required for application enhancements
• Foster relationships across the organization; collaborate regularly with various departments and operational teams to drive value and demonstrate transparency
• Act as a key resource in various stages of SDLC and Project Life Cycle
• Maintain objectivity with own work to ensure solutions are aligned and consistent with business objectives
• Support in the resolution of assigned tickets and application-related issues in a timely manner
• Raise and escalate any issues and concerns with IT management and / or business process owners
• Make data-driven decisions and recommendations
• Develop and maintain documentation as required
