As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Cladding Drafting Technician to join our dynamic team and contribute to the production of high-quality shop and fabrication drawings. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about precision in design and construction.

What You’ll Do

• Draft and develop detailed shop drawings for a variety of cladding systems for approval, in-house fabrication and field installation both in metric and or imperial.
• Draft and develop complex fabrication models based on point cloud data (3D laser scanning) to verify accuracy in production.
• Generate a comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) for various cladding components for production.
• Collaborate closely with teams to ensure seamless project execution and maintain communication throughout project lifecycles.
• Review project specifications, drawings, estimates, and existing dialogues to ensure the accuracy of systems to be developed in the shop drawings.
• Utilize Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD 2D and 3D modeling, and Recap PRO to create precise technical drawings and BIM models that align with project requirements. Inventor is an asset.
• Work closely with the drafting team to meet project deadlines and maintain efficiency.
• Ensure technical accuracy, clarity, and efficiency in all drawings by reviewing project specifications, drawings, existing dialogues, and current products.
• Identify and correct any discrepancies or errors in design and documentation.
• Maintain organized collaboration with existing drawings and databases.
