Industrial Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our weekend night shift team. This is a permanent full-time position from friday to Sunday 17:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

What youre responsible for:

• Perform preventive maintenance repairs adjustments alignments and servicing of various equipment including:
  • Conveyor
  • Grinder
  • Shredder
  • Vibrating table
  • Hydraulic system
  • Press
• Diagnose mechanical issues breakdowns and failures.
• Inspect for wear repair or replace defective parts components or systems.
• Test repaired equipment to verify performance and ensure compliance.
• Assist in troubleshooting to improve equipment efficiency and functionality.
• Carry out installation and upgrades of new machines or equipment.
• Complete work orders and follow up as necessary.
• Ensure proper use and operation of company equipment.
• Inform the immediate supervisor of any required actions detected issues or time overruns.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work safely and in compliance with health & safety (SST) policies and company procedures.
• Perform any other related tasks.

Qualifications :

To join our team:

• Strong experience in maintenance repair and adjustment of mechanical equipment such as conveyors grinders shredders vibrating tables hydraulic systems and presses.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues breakdowns and failures and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Skilled in testing repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with standards.
• Ability to collaborate on problem-solving to improve equipment efficiency and functionality.
• Knowledge of safety protocols including workplace cleanliness compliance with health & safety (SST) regulations and safe work practices.

Additional Information :

• Permanent position full-time
• Night schedule: Friday to Sunday 17:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
• Overtime after 40 hours
