Email Developer – Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Temporary 12 months)

About the role

Our growing team is looking for a Front-end Email Developer – Salesforce Marketing Cloud!

In this role, you will be responsible for producing and integrating emails for the various brands of Intact Financial Corporation (including Intact Insurance and belairdirect. To do this, you will leverage your in-depth technical knowledge in programming emails with the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. You will actively participate in a wide range of initiatives that directly contribute to the organization's major business objectives.

What you'll do here:

• Build and integrate email creatives into the platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), manage personalization, versions, and email rendering.

• Participate to the pre-deployment tests.

• Implement A/B tests, integrate dynamic content, and adopt best practices in terms of accessibility and deliverability.

• Participate in the process of determining target audiences and segments to guide desired personalization.

• Stay updated on technological trends, new developments, and best practices in electronic communications and proactively share them with the team.

• Collaborate with marketing advisors, various internal stakeholders, and the external creative agency as needed.

• Participate in evaluating campaign performance and propose opportunities for optimization and innovation.

What you bring to the table: :

• College or bachelor’s degree in relevant field or any combination of equivalent education and experience.

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in similar role.

• Mastery of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform; experience with Adobe Campaign is an asset.

• Proficient in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, AMPscript, SQL and SSJS.

• Skilled with Photoshop and other Adobe CS products.

• Experience using email testing tools, such as Litmus.

• Strong work methodology and ability to manage time and priorities.

• Attention to details.

• Great ability to adapt to change and to tolerate stress.

• Autonomous, collaborative and solution-oriented.

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification is an asset.

• For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

• No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
