Job Description
Senior Commercial Credit Underwriter – CRE (Remote | 2-Week Contract)Pay Rate: $125–$135/hourReview and assess the quality of underwriting for a set of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) credit files
Analyze financial, risk, and compliance aspects of each file
Document underwriting and account management observations using a structured format
Identify deficiencies, if any, and support them with a clear, evidence-based rationale
Ensure assessments align with regulatory expectations and internal credit risk policies
Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial real estate underwriting, credit adjudication, or related credit risk roles
Strong knowledge of commercial mortgage lending practices, credit risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements
Proven ability to assess large and complex credit files independently
Excellent analytical, written communication, and documentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel)
