Job description

The Divert Program Coordinator supports the Divert Manager in delivering the Divert furniture decommissioning program for Teknion. The Program offers Teknions clients a comprehensive solution to keep their used furniture out of landfill by finding opportunities to reuse resell donate or recycle their assets. The Coordinator will work closely with the manager to present assess and quote opportunities as well as working with program partners to deliver projects invoice and report results to clients. Additionally the coordinator will be responsible for project tracking managing data developing internal and external reports including financial reporting for the program. The coordinator should be comfortable having environmental conversations with customers with a curiosity to learn how the program impacts both Teknion and our customers. Concepts like circular economy carbon accounting SBTI and lifecycle management will be part of daily conversations internally and with customers.

What will you be responsible for in this role

  • Program Operations Support Internal 50%

Administrative help to support Divert Program Manager to create project quote proposals order processing reporting invoice preparation meeting minutes and project tracking.

  • Responsible for daily updates to the project tracking tool to ensure seamless project planning and execution.
  • Process management support on active projects.
  • Organization and management of account specific project documents in Google Drive.
  • Order entry preparation after quotation approval.
  • Responsible for cross-functional collaboration with accounting finance and technology teams to move projects forward and build internal understanding of the program.
  • Assist in program automation planning testing and execution.
  • Data Analysis (invoice review reporting analysis) 35%
  • Conduct monthly P&Ls.

  • Conduct invoice analysis.
  • Conduct project report analysis.
  • Preparation and review of client facing Project Reports and creation of custom reports.
  • Organization and management of program documents such as monthly vendor statement of accounts monthly client accounts receivable reports mid and yearly program metrics P&L statements on a monthly quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Responsible for report generation for all Program key metrics sales data profitability diversion metrics sustainability metrics re-occurring and adhoc client project reports etc.
  • Program Operations Support External 15%
  • Comfortable communicating with clients and collaborating internally to move projects forward.

  • Assist in program promotion alongside Divert Manager through client engagement events such as Lunch Learns and Case Studies etc.
  • Understanding of Sustainability principles is an asset.
