We are looking for a dedicated Repair Planner to be an integral part of the daily operations at our Aviva AutoCare Centre located in Mississauga.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling moderate to complex physical damage appraisals, assessing damage and completing re‑inspections for quality assurance while providing exceptional customer service. You will act as a technical resource for Estimators. The Repair Planner understands the repair process in more detail and conducts deep‑dive assessments on the repair procedures.

What You’ll Do

Examine damaged vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, or interior damage

Complete appraisals and determine proper repair methods and pricing

Monitor daily productivity of all assignments and corresponding records

Monitor progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring proper repair and safety procedures are followed

Control the method and cost of repairs to vehicles by using established industry regulatory practices and corporate guidelines

Complete total loss evaluations through market and Autosource search

Complete remote appraisals

Make decisions that positively impact the site and the customer

Promote Aviva AutoCare Centre values and goals

What You’ll Bring

Post‑secondary education

Minimum 5 years auto estimating experience

Repair planning experience

Experience within the automotive repair industry

Excellent customer service skills combined with outstanding communication and conflict‑resolution skills

Strong knowledge of automotive / equipment preventive maintenance, refurbishment and repair practices and procedures

Demonstrates adaptability and openness to change with a proactive mindset in embracing new work practices and technologies

Proficiency using body shop management systems; knowledge of Body Shop Connect preferred

Excellent organizational, time‑management and interpersonal skills

Commitment to an environment of continuous improvement

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Detail oriented with an emphasis on quality control

Ability to take direction and perform well under pressure

Strong awareness of safety practices and procedures
