Senior Data Consultant, Decision Science

Location : Markham – Hybrid

Job description :

An important catalyst for continued maturity of the data-driven decision framework is a decision enabler. We are looking for a data analytics professional who has rich experience in enabling and driving decisions, and who has experience in transforming data ecosystems.

Accountabilities :

• Conduct data analysis and enable data-driven decisions on insurance analytic topics; Takes clients’ business questions, frames the data analysis to effectively answer client question, applies basic statistical concepts and descriptive statistics to understand and describe relationships in data, and draws appropriate conclusions from the results; translates data analytics to actional insights and enable business decisions
• Formulate and implement strategies and the roadmap for data ecosystem modernization, including but not limited to operating model enhancement, process and journey enrichment, etc.
• Work with various stakeholders to advance workstreams in the roadmap
• Participate in areas closely related to the data ecosystem, including but not limited to privacy, artificial intelligence, etc.
• Other ad-hoc tasks as requested by the VP, including but not limited to ongoing planning and deliverables management
