Import Coordinator

Our client, a leading importer of cold weather clothing and accessories, is looking for an experienced Import Coordinator to join their team! In this role, you will be ensuring that all customer orders are processed efficiently and follow ups are completed.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily correspondence with vendors
• Act as the point of contact between all parties involved in the design, sales, manufacturing, approval and shipping process for various clothing styles and items
• Ensure that all order information is accurate (fabrics, sizes, etc.)
• Receive, sort, organize and ship clothing samples
• Monitor the status of all styles and follow up with the appropriate buyers/sellers/internal departments
• Identify and resolve any situations in relation to orders
• Prepare comprehensive weekly summaries

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in the fashion industry working in imports
• Basic knowledge of clothing styles, fabrics and patterns fabrics and patterns
• Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• A degree in a fashion-related field (fashion design, production, etc.) is an asset
