Key Responsibilities

Operate a loader to bale and load compost.

Loading hoppers and grinders.

Perform inspection and maintenance checks of equipment daily.

Grease / lubricate equipment, check and add fluids to equipment daily.

Maintain appearance of the grounds and facility.

Attend safety and branch meetings.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery.

Successfully operate a loader to move compost around.

Capability to run 110, 150 and 980 loaders.

Ability to operate other heavy equipment an asset.

Ability to obtain Transfer Station / Landfill Operations Certification if needed.

Demonstrate ability to follow instructions and work under little supervision.

Must be able to frequently lift / push / pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

SENIORITY level : Entry level
