Senior Infrastructure Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Analyst for a 3-month contract (with potential for extension) supporting a large and complex enterprise technology environment. This position will focus on delivering and maintaining robust, reliable, and secure data centre infrastructure across both cloud and on-premise platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of enterprise server, storage, virtualization, and cloud-based infrastructure systems.

• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, capacity, and availability to ensure alignment with business needs.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, including those escalated from other support teams.

• Contribute to infrastructure-related change management activities, ensuring smooth deployment and minimal service disruption.

• Assist with backup, recovery, and archival solutions to support business continuity.

• Collaborate with internal technical teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to provide infrastructure expertise and recommendations.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in senior-level infrastructure roles supporting enterprise environments.

• Strong background in data centre infrastructure design, analysis, troubleshooting, and complex implementation projects.

• Hands-on experience with technologies such as Windows Server, VMware, Exchange, Office 365, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).

• Proven ability to work collaboratively across technical teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels

Education

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with ITIL practices or formal IT service management frameworks (certification preferred but not mandatory).
