Job description

Rodriguez, Ferrier, and Fiset Pharmacy, affiliated with Uniprix in Waterloo is seeking a Pharmacy Technical Assistant (PTA) to join its team.

As a PTA, you’ll play an essential role in preparing and dispensing medications while delivering personalized care to our patients.

What we’re looking for!

Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Pharmacy Technical Assistance or equivalent

Experience in a pharmacy setting (preferred)

Proficiency with pharmacy management software

Ability to work as part of a team and multitask efficiently

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Tasks

Your daily tasks will include :

Prepare and distribute prescribed medications under the pharmacist’s supervision

Greet patients and gather necessary information to meet their needs

Handle administrative tasks related to patient file management and data entry

Monitor and manage medication inventory

Assist with ordering and receiving medications

Help ensure the lab runs smoothly and stays clean
