Columbia Forest Products, KITCHENER , has an opening for a full-time PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBER - FORKLIFT OPERATOR .

Successful candidate must be able to work in various jobs which can include rotating to different job duties. These job duties could include working at different machine centers, (putty line, spreader, hot press, sander), handling material, quality checks, clean up, and other similar manufacturing activities.

Being able to operate a forklift efficiently and safely in a production setting is an asset.

Employees must be able to use personal safety equipment while working in a manufacturing environment that includes moving machinery, fast paced forklift traffic, and machine noise.

Dayshift Schedule consist of 10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday . 40 hours per week, starting at $20.00 per hour (probationary rate)

Schedule is 6 : 30am – 5pm Monday-Thursday or Monday-Thursday 7 : 15am - 4 : 15pm, Friday 7 : 00am-12 : 00pm.

Pay can increase up to $24.00 after probationary period. Base salary after probation is $21.50 plus proficiency levels of 0.50$, 1.00$, 2.00$, or 2.50$ based on employee qualifications.
