Job description

Are you a Mechanical Designer looking for a contract role with a strong likelihood of extension? This role might be a good fit for you.

We are looking for an experienced mechanical designer for our role with a bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Mechatronics preferred), or Diploma in Mechanical Technology.

Responsibilities

Minimum of 3-5 years prior technical experience with LV Power Distribution Products (Switchboards / Switchgear strongly preferred), with a minimum of 2 years in a Manufacturing or Design Engineering capacity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Mechatronics preferred), or Diploma in Mechanical Technology.

Minimum of 3-5 years prior technical experience with LV Power Distribution Products (Switchboards / Switchgear strongly preferred), with a minimum of 2 years in a Manufacturing or Design Engineering capacity.

Highly proficient user of Autodesk Inventor 2018 or equivalent 3D Modelling software

Demonstrated proficiency with PC and related software, including MS Office Suite.

Experience using and interpreting the Canadian Electrical Code, and applicable CSA & UL Standard
