POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our team on commercial projects in Saskatoon SK. The ideal candidate has strong electrical skills and hands-on experience on commercial construction sites.

Shift: 4 - 5 days a week; 8-to-10-hour days

RESPONSIBILITIES

Establish and maintain good relations with site personnel and customers
Comply with Companys corporate Health and Safety manual
Adhere to both Flyer Electric and customer policies and procedures
Ensure project safety profitability schedule adherence and customer satisfaction.
Responsible for the efficient use of materials and equipment and for overseeing the performance of all field-related activities for each task/project.
Ensure field work is executed in compliance with project plans including specifications project schedule budget quality safety and customer requirements
Complete and maintain appropriate documentation including all required safety documentation and daily progress reports (LEMs)
Attend daily and weekly site meetings as well as all mandatory training
Maintain a professional image and demonstrate positive attitude teamwork and workmanship
Provide safe and effective supervision and guidance to personnel when needed
Guide and train apprentices in the proper use of tools materials and techniques for most efficient electrical installations
Lead others by example
Perform any other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Certificate
Saskatchewan Electrical License
Proven experience as a commercial electrician
Ability to lift carry push pull bend climb squat reach and kneel on a regular basis
Valid Class 5 drivers license
Maintain a clean driving abstract and drug/alcohol clearance.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
