About the Role

We are looking for a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of our growing fleet. This role will work with the Fleet Manager primarily on medium and heavy-duty trucks, vacuum units, pumps, and hydraulics.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of approximately 18 trucks, trailers, and related equipment
  • Work on engines, cooling systems, fuel and exhaust systems, brakes, hydraulics, and vacuum systems
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance services and inspections
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and equipment malfunctions
  • Test equipment to ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements
  • Interpret work orders, service manuals, and technical documentation
  • Complete service reports and maintenance records
  • Order parts and assist with inventory management
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Support company environmental, health, and safety policies

What We’re Looking For

  • Red Seal certification is a must have
  • Experience working with medium and heavy-duty trucks
  • Experience with vacuum vessels, pumps, hydraulics, flatbed trailers, and restroom trailers is a strong asset
  • Class 3 or Class 5 Driver’s License (air endorsement and clean driver’s abstract preferred)
  • Own tools (tool allowance provided)
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, organized, and able to manage maintenance priorities
  • Hours of work : 2 : 00PM – 10 : 30PM
  • Comfortable working overtime when required

    Work Location : Fully Onsite

    Pay :  $35 - $50 per hour
