We are recruiting for a Quality & Innovations Committee Support Student . To provide support to the BelieveInYourself Committee and Quality and Innovations Department with advocacy initiatives within Empower Simcoe. This is a full-time position starting as soon as April 20, 2026, for approximately 4-5 months. This position works up to 37.5 hours biweekly with an hourly rate of pay of $21.43. Please note that this position is contingent upon funding approval through the Federal Government Canada Summer Jobs program.

Minimum requirements

• Completion of secondary school and enrollment in post-secondary education in Social Services Program or other closely related fields of education, is an asset
• Some experience working with people with an intellectual disability, with social media platforms and project planning an asset
• Demonstrated skills in inclusive leadership, including building relationships, problem solving and decision making, self-awareness, championing change and innovation
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Knowledge and familiarity with computer operations and software applications
• Current valid driver's licence and own reliable transportation to be used in the course of employment
