Job descriptionMust have a reliable Tractor Truck no older than eight years Education Required : High School or GED AZ driver’s license with a minimum of 4 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience required Clean driver’s abstract and criminal search Excellent communication skills, work ethic and reliability. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment. Safety conscious. Must have flexibility to work various shifts : Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends. Deliver freight to assigned locations ensuring timely delivery Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to avoid any damage Communicate efficiently with the central dispatch and customers Operate the tractor trailer in accordance with the safety regulation : company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation Report any incident, accident, injury or damage in a timely manner Willingness to work afternoon / night shift (shift starts between 11am and 13 pm)
Overview
Midland Transport is currently seeking professional AZ P&D Driver Owner Operator based in Concord, ON. In this role, you will operate a tractor‑trailer to complete scheduled local routes, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service to our customers.
Schedule
Monday to Friday (10-12 hours shift)
What We Offer
- Competitive Hourly rates $58.40
- Fuel purchased at authorized by the Company fuel stops will be charged to the Owner Operator at a rate of $0.408 on gasoline or diesel
- Uniform Allowance of $367.50 per unit, per year
- $200 safety bonus per quarter if qualified
- Ongoing training and advancement possibilities
