Job Description

The Data Valorization Professional's mission is to transform raw data from various surveys (drones, 3D scans, mobile mapping) into high-quality deliverables. These deliverables must not only meet client needs, but also provide tangible added value through optimal use of available tools and techniques.

You will have the opportunity to work on hybrid projects at our office and at our clients' sites in the Montreal area.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Process and analyze data collected via various capture systems (drones, laser scanners, mobile systems).
  • Produce 3D models, interactive visualizations, plans and other digital deliverables for our clients.
  • Work closely with the survey and engineering teams to understand needs and ensure accurate and quality deliverables.
  • Manage and structure databases to facilitate access to and use of the information captured.
  • Participate in the establishment and improvement of deliverable standards for the reality capture team.
  • Monitor new technologies, software and methods in order to continuously improve data valorization processes.

Qualifications

  • DEC or DEP in a relevant field (civil engineering, geomatics, surveying, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Auto Cad, Civil 3D, Revit, Micro Station, Descartes, TBC software (an asset)
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling processes, GIS, and database management systems.
  • Ability to understand and analyze large amounts of data to extract key information.
  • Good project management skills and respect for deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams
