Summary
The Document Control Assistant (DCA) controls the creation, revision, distribution, retention and destruction of internal and external documents and supports QA dept in daily tasks. The DCA reports directly to the Global QA / Environment Manager
The DCA’s responsibilities, among others, are :
- To update the document control database upon creation of a controlled document by assigning a control number and electronically saving where suitable to the users;
- To update the database upon modification of an existing document;
- To ensure uniformity and organization of document availability (computer network);
- To implement and maintain archives of quality and other records;
- To ensure proper distribution of controlled documents;
- To ensure proper destruction of inactive or obsolete documents;
- To perform document audits and report any nonconformities;
- To continually assess the document control system and ensure its compliance with requirements and effective operation;
- Audit reports writing and preparation (ISO 9001, ISO 14001)
- Responsible for collecting supplier documentation (evaluations, certifications, assessments)
- Help maintain QA databases on Teams / OneDrive, ensure records are properly archived and accessible.
- To participate in industrial product certification and audits
Qualifications
