Job description

Commissionaires BC is currently looking for Security Supervisor to work at one of our sites in Surrey.

Position days and hours :

  • Monday to Friday, 0700 - 1500
    • Payrate :
  • 24.25 / hr

Some of your responsibilities include :

  • Monitor / mange the fixed entry points on the site.
  • Identify any information concerning security deficiencies and report them.
  • Access control.
  • Use of electronic equipment.
  • Submit reports, time sheets, and staff evaluations as per deadlines.
  • Oversee training and scheduling of Commissionaires.
  • Leading through empowerment, and monitoring staff morale, discipline, and progress.
  • Ensure team maintains a professional standard of conduct, dress and deportment.
  • Maintain up-to-date Post Orders and Site Safety, Risk, and Quality Assurance assessments.
  • Liaise with the client to ensure their instructions are carried out as per written policy.
  • Contacting management in situations not covered by Post Orders.

  • Valid BC Security Licence
  • Have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years for clearance purposes
