Position summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic team within BC Soccer at its Vancouver office. BC Soccer is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, dynamic, strategic thinker, and proactive professional for the position of Sporting Director. This position provides leadership for planning, execution and evaluation of soccer activities, services and programs in BC. The Sporting Director aligns technical development programs with long-term strategic goals. The role leads initiatives to steer holistic development of programs and services across British Columbia.
Role Objectives:
The Sporting
Director is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and leads effective execution of BC Soccer’s technical development strategy, including all activities related to technical development, as well as control, monitoring and assessment of programs. The Sporting Director will focus on direct supervision of talent identification systems, design and implementation of programs and services, and meaningful engagement of partners and stakeholders to enhance capacity building across all levels.
