The Opportunity

This role is based at our facility in Hacketts Cove HRM working 40 hours per week.

The position we have open will primarily be responsible for working within our Fabrication team which will include general shop duties painting and plating duties through to the operation of machinery all of which form an essential part of our production addition there will be a requirement to work in other parts of Assembly Fabrication or Operations generally as required.

Other elements of the role include :

Some lifting of parts is required generally around 5kg / 11lb up to 23kg / 50lbs;

Movement of parts around the department is also required;

The role requires a high percentage of standing;

Required to read documentation;

Regular use of computer.

Ideally have prior experience in a manufacturing environment;

Have the ability to problem-solve;

Have attention to detail;

Be able to read technical drawings;

Be able to communicate effectively;

Work well in a team environment as well as use your own initiative;

Be willing to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.

Have continuous improvement as a focus;

Operate with safety as a priority.
