About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a contract role with a client in Toronto, ON . The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Azure, Terraform, TypeScript, Azure Service Bus (ASB), and Azure API Management (APIM). We are looking for a hands‑on DevOps Lead with deep expertise in Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps (ADO) to design and implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC), build secure CI / CD pipelines, and enforce cloud governance standards.

Services to be Provided

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Design and implement modular Terraform architecture for Azure services (Functions, ADF, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault, App Insights, NSGs, Managed Identities).

• Define remote state strategy, environment isolation, and drift detection.
• Establish quality gates (TFLint, Checkov, Terratest) and enforce coding standards.
• Build and maintain multi‑stage ADO pipelines for infra and app deployments.
• Implement plan / apply separation, approvals, artifact handling, and PR validation.
• Secure pipelines using OIDC federation (no secrets) and scoped RBAC.
• Provision and configure Azure Functions, ADF, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault, App Insights.
• Implement Private Endpoints, NSGs, and Private DNS Zones for secure networking.
• Integrate observability (App Insights, Log Analytics) and configure alerts.
