The Wetaskiwin School Division is seeking a temporary Full-Time Literacy Teacher.This position is comprised of two distinct but complementary roles :

• 0.5 FTE Centralized Literacy Intervention (Division-based)
• 0.5 FTE Early Literacy Teacher at Griffiths-Scott School (School-based)

Centralized Literacy Intervention Position (0.5 FTE) responsibilities :

This portion of the role focuses onsystem-wide literacy improvement, supporting schools through coaching, professional learning, and data-informed practices.

Responsibilities include :

Griffiths Scott Early Literacy Teacher (0.5 FTE) responsibilities :

This portion of the role focuses on direct student support within Griffiths-Scott School, serving approximately 260 students in Grades K–8.
