Division : British Columbia

Position : Class 1 Local Delivery Driver ( Kelowna)

Schedule : 3 x 12 with rotation day Floater 4 : 30AM - 4 : 30PM

Position Overview

The Class 1 Local Delivery Driver will be responsible for covering delivery shifts out of Kelowna.

Starting rate of $35.94 with potential to go to a top rate of $41.97 per hour after completing 12 months

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include correctly offloading products recording delivery information accepting payment for goods when required and ensuring operational vehicle safety in all aspects. The Delivery Service Representative is expected to operate the vehicle in a safe manner at all times obeying all rules and regulations of the road and following all appropriate company policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Valid Class 1 drivers license and a clean drivers abstract

Proven ability of lifting pushing and pulling up to 80lbs

Eligibility for bonding and transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certification

Excellent customer service skills

Strong mechanical aptitude

A high level of integrity and a strong work ethic able to work with little supervision and be self-directed

Professional demeanour under stressful situations

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to lift up to 60 lbs

High School Diploma or equivalent

Availability for holidays and weekends
