HVAC Technician

Moore & Russell requires energetic, motivated and career-minded HVAC Service or Install Technicians to perform onsite service and installation of HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers' heating, ventilation, and air-condition equipment meets or exceeds the Technical Standards & Safety Authority codes and municipal building codes and standards.
• Follow all Energy Star service processes and procedures.
• Educate customers on proper care and maintenance and promote all HVAC options.
• Complete general and specific HVAC equipment inspections.
• Maintain a clean, fully stocked vehicle.
• Explain the benefits of newer high-efficiency equipment to the customer.
• Promote products and services on every call.
• Never sell the customer a repair they do not need.
• Provide a five-star experience on every call or make it right before leaving the customer’s home.
• Feel comfortable requesting online reviews from customers.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years recent HVAC Service or Install experience with exposure to furnaces, central and ductless air conditioners, gas boilers, water heaters including tankless heaters.
• Strong technical and customer service skills and experience meeting company metrics in current and previous roles.
• Gas Technician or Sheet Metal license.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean record.
• Comfortable working from heights and using a ladder.
• Accountable and responsible personality with a positive, can-do attitude and high customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment, completing the installation and commissioning of HVAC elements.
• Strong customer service skills.
