Job Summary

As a Director Data Development for our Enterprise Data Analytics team youll be joining a purpose-driven team aligned with our mission : Together We Create Healthier Lives. In this role primary responsibilities include :

• Develop and executed a data engineering strategy aligned with enterprise goals and digital transformation;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define a unified data architecture and scalable roadmap;
• Promote innovation through emerging technologies and platform enhancements;
• Establish governance frameworks and best practices for data consistency and compliance;
• Architecte enterprise-scale data platforms using Microsoft Azure tools (Data Factory Databricks Data Lake Event Hubs);
• Lead advanced Databricks implementations for large-scale processing ML workflows and real-time analytics;
• Enable actionable insights via semantic models and Power BI enterprise reporting;
• Built robust data pipelines for high-volume ingestion transformation and distribution.
• Direct a high-performing team ensured 99.9% uptime and drove automation and DevOps for operational efficiency.

About Safety Assessment

Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth efficient journey to market. Each year approximately 300 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
