Gas Technician (G1 or G2)

Agilus is recruiting for a Gas Technician (G1 or G2) in the fuel and petroleum supplier industry in Bracebridge, Ontario.
The Propane Service Technician is responsible for both residential and commercial customers. Installing and servicing an array of Propane dependent items including tanks and appliances. Our client has locations in: St. George, Blythe, Bracebridge, Brechin and Flesherton!
A typical day:

• Working with dispatcher, supervisor and senior technicians, complete all calls in a safe and efficient manner ensuring compliance to all legislative codes, standards and company policies.
• Work will include - piping and tank installs, final connection to pre-installed equipment, appliance installs (such as fireplaces, furnaces, boiler systems, air conditioners, hydronic systems), gas check inspections, maintenance cleaning, removal of old propane tanks, service calls for no heat, no hot water, etc.
• Complete invoices along with any applicable forms or checklists depending on call type as soon as call is completed.
• Communicate with dispatcher and supervisor as day progresses to assist other technicians as needed or take a high priority call if required.

Successful candidates will have:

• Must have exceptional customer service skills and be a team player!
• G1 or G2 certification
• Previous appliance installation experience is an asset
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds occasionally and comfortable with the physical and outdoor nature of the job.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and on-call when needed.
• G license required along with a Clean Drivers Abstract
