Job Requirements

Scope :

Design and development of middleware and integration solutions for the Justice Enhanced Integration Platform.

Build integrations for products and work on various application integration endpoints, including the Simultaneous Notification System.

Responsibilities :

Translate functional specifications into tested applications using Azure and Java technologies.

Develop detailed programming specifications, user interface designs, prototypes.

Write and / or generate code, compile data-driven programs, conduct unit tests, and debug code.

Participate in creating high-quality software design and documentation for SDLC phases.

Assist with troubleshooting production issues and support day-to-day operations.

Key Deliverables : Development :

Writing and / or generating code, conducting unit tests.

Design & Documentation :

Contribute to software design and SDLC documentation.

Support :

Provide operational support and resolve production issues.

Cloud Expertise :

Deep knowledge of Azure services.

Experience and Skills Required

Technical Expertise :

Minimum of 7 years of experience in Java software development.

Proven expertise in Java ecosystem, including Spring Boot; experience with C#, .NET is an asset.

Strong understanding of microservices architecture and scalable systems.

Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and containerised environments.

Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, including documentation and testing.

Skilled in WSDL / XML and SOAP-based web services.

Solid grasp of integration patterns, enterprise integration technologies, and messaging (Spring Integration).

Knowledge of data transformation techniques (mapping, normalisation, XSLT).

Experience in multithreaded programming and concurrent development.

Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (SQL Server).

Familiarity with security best practices (authentication, authorisation, encryption).

Experience in automated testing (unit and API tests).

Agile team experience (Scrum or Kanban).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

UI development experience in ReactJS or Angular.

Nice to Have :

Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

Experience leading development teams and mentoring.

Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines.

Mandatory Requirements :

Strong experience developing RESTful APIs using Java.

Deep knowledge of Azure services (Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus).

Expertise in integration patterns and Spring Integration.

Skilled in data transformation techniques within integration workflows.
