Eligibility :

This position is open to all CUPE employees. Preference will be granted in accordance with the Collective Agreement for CUPE local 1479 to permanent internal candidates expect those that are currently Designated Early Childhood Educators with the Board. Temporary employees will have their applications considered prior to external applicants.

Assignment :

Effective immediately.

Permanent 10 Month.

Working 6.5 hours per day 5 days per week.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Principal the Designated Early Childhood Educator will partner with the classroom teacher to plan and implement a full day early learning program supporting the faith initiatives within a Catholic classroom setting and provide supervision and age-appropriate Catholic programming for groups of students as part of the extended day program as required.
