Project Manager

Matchbox Consulting is looking for a Project Manager for a leading general contractor specializing in heavy civil, structural concrete, water works, and ICI projects. Key Responsibilities :

Manage project budgets, schedules, and billing with the Preconstruction team and Project Superintendent

Coordinate contracts, payments, and negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers

Attend site meetings with owners and consultants, addressing issues promptly

Provide monthly job costing summaries and financial reports

Ensure projects meet plans, specifications, and timelines

Oversee project close-out processes, including resolving deficiencies and final documentation

Requirements :

5-8 years of Project Management experience in general contracting

C.Tech., P.Eng., CET designation, or eligibility for Gold Seal certification

Strong skills in estimating, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and client management

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities

Experience with lump sum, Design-Build, and water / wastewater projects is a plus
