Cultivates and maintains favorable contact with key and major accounts of the organization. Calls on potential new key accounts. Sustains a record of high sales achievement. Speaks directly with new and existing customers or clients to explain features and merits of products or services offered. Demonstrates product or services and assists in the best application of products or services. This level is distinguished from lower-level Sales Representative positions by the size and nature of the accounts. Answers all questions concerning a product or service, with appropriate coordination of sales negotiations where required. Closes transactions and takes orders. Investigates product/service warranty claims to ensure resolution within organization policies. Calculates and quotes prices. Analyzes and interprets records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management. Submits time and expense reports to management. May coordinate company technical engineering support and services to ascertain customers' needs. May specialize in a specific product or service.

Create, implement and achieve consistent plan for profitable growth by: increasing market share, improving price positioning, improving product mix, managing customer portfolio and managing expenses along specific profitability targets based on an excellent understanding of the market place in close cooperation with other company Business Areas. Continuous development of channel personnel.

  • Develop & manage implementation of strategic sales, marketing and operational initiatives to support identified projects. Work closely with senior management to formulate the vision and strategy for the business unit.
  • Ensure that all P&L costs are in line within overall objectives set for assigned account(s).
  • Research and prepare detailed business overview of new business opportunities including in depth profitability, competitive and market analysis, acquisition targeting and due diligence.
  • Act as Business Consultant externally with clients business opportunities, conduct profitability analysis, articulate value proposition (strategic ownership of Earthmoving and Port Products), manage the opportunity through strong understanding of clients’ organizational structures and the establishment of relationships throughout that structure to ultimately increase revenue and market share for Continental.
  • Administer and direct field by ensuring proper support for existing accounts, monitor and ensure support processes account participation in marketing and sales programs, credit management, return, and adjustment process. Identify growth opportunities and direct new business solicitation. Insures that effective and continuous contacts are made and that proper sales services support is provided. Coordinates sales personnel in developing sales presentations for key accounts. Participates in or presents sales programs.
  • Coordinate, monitor and manage inventory and production planning to meet the forecast and unit objectives per key account. Work internal support groups to maximize inventory turns and customer fill rates for the division to ensure that the division reaches profit objectives. Control expenses; take an active role in developing monthly and yearly Sales Forecasts · Recommend innovative changes to ensure retention of current business and additional new business growth. Monitor and analyze business on a continuous basis and implement any corrective action. Active participation with Senior division management in discussions on future business practices. Assures new or modified selling plans are consistent with present sales policies & sales services capabilities.

  • Provide Market Intelligence by obtaining competitive information. Analyze, define, and improve price positioning, and provide general market insight. Manage all pricing activity for Fleet Sales Channel to include pricing authority and responsibility, key administrative and sales forms, including Billing Record Request package, National Account Customer Program Letter, and Exhibit A Pricing. Updating for annual changes, and new product introductions and article number changes. Service Price Book administration · Works with Marketing & Management to develop effective product/service and merchandising support. This includes product packages, promotions, brand or private labels, pricing, billing etc. Assist in marketing efforts to targeted transportation segments, mines, ports, construction.
  • Coordinate internal programs designed to assist in driving sales at Cross Regional fleet accounts, including new account welcome package, disseminating information to terminals, compiling sales call reports, and 5tracking sales and margins.

This is an open and existing position. The use of AI is not used in the selection process. The starting salary for this opportunity typically ranges from $90,000-110,000 depending upon experience level

Examine les réclamations au titre de la garantie des produits/services afin de garantir leur résolution conformément aux politiques de l'entreprise. Calcule et établit les prix. Analyse et interprète les données relatives aux ventes actuelles et passées, aux tendances et aux coûts, aux revenus estimés et réalisés, aux engagements administratifs et aux obligations contractées pour la direction. Soumet ses rapports de temps et de dépenses à la direction. Peut coordonner le support technique et les services d'ingénierie de l'entreprise afin de cerner les besoins des clients. Peut se spécialiser dans un produit ou un service spécifique.

Élaborer, mettre en œuvre et atteindre un plan de croissance rentable et cohérent en : augmentant les parts de marché, améliorant le positionnement prix, optimisant la gamme de produits, gérant le portefeuille clients et maîtrisant les dépenses, tout en atteignant des objectifs de rentabilité précis, grâce à une excellente connaissance du marché et en étroite collaboration avec les autres secteurs d'activité de l'entreprise. Assurer le développement continu des équipes de vente.

  • Développer et gérer la mise en œuvre d'initiatives stratégiques en matière de ventes, de marketing et d'opérations afin de soutenir les projets identifiés. Collaborer étroitement avec la direction générale pour définir la vision et la stratégie de l'unité commerciale.

  • S'assurer que tous les coûts liés au compte de résultat sont conformes aux objectifs globaux fixés pour le(s) compte(s) attribué(s).

  • Rechercher et préparer un aperçu détaillé des nouvelles opportunités commerciales, incluant une analyse approfondie de la rentabilité, de la concurrence et du marché, le ciblage des acquisitions et une vérification préalable.

  • Agir en tant que consultant commercial externe auprès des clients, analyser les opportunités commerciales, réaliser des analyses de rentabilité, formuler une proposition de valeur (responsabilité stratégique des produits de terrassement et portuaires), gérer l'opportunité grâce à une solide compréhension des structures organisationnelles des clients et à l'établissement de relations au sein de cette structure afin d'accroître les revenus et la part de marché de Continental.

  • Gérer et encadrer les équipes commerciales en assurant un soutien adéquat aux comptes clients existants, en supervisant et en garantissant les processus de support (participation des comptes aux programmes marketing et commerciaux, gestion du crédit, processus de retour et d'ajustement). Identifier les opportunités de croissance et piloter la prospection de nouveaux clients. Garantir des contacts efficaces et réguliers et un support commercial optimal. Coordonner les équipes commerciales dans l'élaboration des argumentaires de vente pour les comptes clés. Participer aux programmes de vente ou les animer.

  • Coordonner, suivre et gérer la planification des stocks et de la production afin d'atteindre les objectifs de prévision et de volume par compte clé. Collaborer avec les équipes internes pour optimiser la rotation des stocks et le taux de satisfaction client de la division, et ainsi garantir l'atteinte des objectifs de rentabilité. Maîtriser les dépenses ; participer activement à l'élaboration des prévisions de ventes mensuelles et annuelles. Recommander des solutions innovantes pour fidéliser la clientèle existante et développer de nouvelles activités. Suivre et analyser l'activité en continu et mettre en œuvre les actions correctives nécessaires. Participer activement aux discussions avec la direction de la division sur les stratégies commerciales futures. S'assurer de la cohérence des nouveaux plans de vente ou des modifications apportées à ceux-ci avec les politiques commerciales et les capacités de service client actuelles.

  • Recommander des changements novateurs pour fidéliser la clientèle actuelle et développer de nouvelles activités. Suivre et analyser l'activité en continu et mettre en œuvre les mesures correctives nécessaires. Participer activement aux discussions avec la direction de la division sur les futures pratiques commerciales. Garantir la cohérence des nouveaux plans de vente ou des modifications apportées à ceux-ci avec les politiques et les capacités actuelles des services commerciaux.

  • Fournir des informations sur le marché en recueillant des renseignements sur la concurrence. Analyser, définir et améliorer le positionnement tarifaire et fournir une vision globale du marché. Gérer l'ensemble des activités de tarification pour le canal de vente aux flottes, y compris l'autorité et la responsabilité en matière de tarification, les principaux formulaires administratifs et commerciaux, notamment le dossier de demande de relevés de facturation, la lettre du programme clients grands comptes et l'annexe A relative à la tarification. Mise à jour annuelle des tarifs pour les nouveaux produits et les changements de références. Administration du catalogue de prix des services. Collaborer avec le marketing et la direction pour développer un soutien efficace en matière de produits/services et de merchandising. Cela comprend les offres groupées, les promotions, les marques propres ou de distributeur, la tarification, la facturation, etc. Contribuer aux efforts de marketing auprès des segments ciblés du transport, des mines, des ports et de la construction.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related experience OR 6+ years of related experience if no Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Tire industry experience
  • Ability to travel extensively within territory
  • Ability to handle tires on occasion
  • Must live close to a major airport
  • Strong sales experience and business acumen
  • Solid Interpersonal/Communication skills
  • Analytical skills and strong presentation skills
  • Financial knowledge
  • Valid Drivers License
