JUNIOR FOREST TECHNICIAN (SUMMER STUDENT)

Landmark Solutions Ltd . (Landmark) is currently looking to add Summer Students to our team of Junior Forest Technicians for the 2026 summer season.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

This position is a valuable contributor to the Landmark team. As a Junior Forest Technician summer student you will w ork with safety as a top priority . Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• GPS traversing.
• Timber Cruising Assistant.
• Riparian Assessments.
• Assisting with Timber Reconnaissance.
• Assisting with Timber Development Projects.
• Completion of safety reports through Site Docs.
• Have a strong awareness and attitude towards workplace health and safety.

SPECIFIC SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

The successful candidate will be a student of a post secondary forestry or natural resources program. Other requirements include :

Located on beautiful Shuswap Lake the area offers an abundance of outdoor recreation opportunities. You will have access to lakes hiking trails camping world class fly fishing mountain biking back-country skiing and three different ski resorts within an hours drive. We provide :

Wage ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
