Job Description

Sideworx Connect offers positions for both employees and independent contractors. We specialize in placing short-term and seasonal employees, allowing you control over your schedule and a chance to explore a multitude of projects.

We're seeking skilled Pipefitters (Journeyman & Apprentices) to join our roster. Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility construction, pipeline construction, maintenance, turn arounds, and shutdowns is required. Please ensure you meet all the below criteria before applying for this position.

Responsibilities :

Assemble, install, and maintain piping systems for oil and gas operations
Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Perform inspections, tests, and repairs on piping systems
Wear PPE and observe health & safety policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications :

Ability to stand for long periods of time, climb and work at heights over 10 feet, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis

Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Ability to work both independently and with others to support a safe work environment

Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (including night, weekends, holidays, and overtime)

Travel is required and certain jobs may be eligible for Living Out Allowance

Valid Class 5 Driver's License with reliable transportation is an asset

Certifications Required :

Journeyperson Certification and / or Interprovincial Red Seal or Valid Apprenticeship

H2S Alive

Standard First Aid & CPR Level C

Common Safety Orientation (CSO)

Preference given to applicants with additional experience and safety tickets, such as :

Valid Driver's License with Clean Abstract

Confined Space Entry & Monitor

Fall Protection

Aerial Work Platform

Ground Disturbance Level II
