Position Description
The Director Internal Communications develops and executes communications strategies and plans to engage, inform and inspire our franchisees and staff that support the business and culture of our exciting growing company. More specifically, the Director Internal Communications ;
- Devises strategies and produces content to help align the organization’s goals with the engagement of franchisees and staff ensuring that they are fully informed about our strategy, objectives and progress and understand how they contribute.
- Facilitates an exchange of information among franchisees and staff.
- Acts as a point of contact for all IC matters and actively collects and disseminates information.
- Makes a meaningful difference in the business and lives of franchisees and staff.
Experience
Proven skills and experience to create, develop and implement comprehensive long term and short term communications plans to drive and support people engagement and organizational growth.Demonstrated confidence and sensitivity in oral and written communications and understands impact of IC on different internal groups.Takes activities and projects through to completion with ability to deliver in a fast and changing environment.Systems oriented in content, delivery, management and measurement of IC.Knowledge of all aspects of communication and exploits technology to achieve results.Ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships internally and externally with diverse groups of people.Understands how to land key messaging in a way that best emotionally connects our brand and programs to our franchisees, staff, critical partners and customers.Relevant service based franchise experience, ideally in both USA & CANADA but USA experience is essential.Qualifications
Experience developing strategic communications plans and activities.5-10 years of related communication experience.Franchise experience would be an asset.Distributed business model – meaning communication experience with a large wide spread audience.Very familiar with current and leading edge technology and practices.Strong storytelling perspective.Education
Business or Marketing Degree
