Renfrew County Bus Lines inc., is looking for school bus drivers to transport students to and from school throughout the Renfrew County region every day! You will inspect your vehicle daily, drive safely, maintain discipline on board and make several stops to pick up and drop off children on your bus. Rain or shine, they are counting on you to safely get them to where they need to go.

Main responsibilities
- Transport school aged children to and from school.
- Ensure the safety of children when boarding and un-boarding the bus when crossing the street at the bus stop.
- Ensure discipline onboard the school bus.
- Keep mandatory reports up to date (daily logs, timesheets etc.).
- Report any deficiencies.
- Carry out the daily inspection of the vehicle prior to leaving the yard each morning.
- Keep the vehicle clean and swept.
- Fill up with fuel at the end of the day.
Training and Allowances
Up to 40 hrs paid training @ $16.55 Hr.Medical Exam fees and B Licencing fees reimbursed.Vulnerable and Criminal Background Check fees reimbursed.First Aid CPR C fees reimbursed.Other related courses and training as required.Salaries

Required qualities
Demonstrate autonomy and resourcefulness.Enjoy working with the public.Enjoy Driving.Possess a good sense of responsibility, organization, and orientation.Requirements
No criminal record related to the job.Have a driving record with no demerit points.Good knowledge of the territory.Spoken and written language : English.Possess a valid”G” Class Licence or equivalent, at least 21 years of age and be able to obtain a valid Commercial Driver’s Class “B” Licence through our training program.Must reside in Ontario.
