About the role

Discovery Community College is seeking a dedicated and experienced HCA Instructor to teach Lab and Clinicals (Site TBD) from our Surrey, BC campus. This position offers an opportunity to mentor and shape the next generation of nursing professionals through engaging and comprehensive instruction.

This role offers 28-35 hours per week and has the potential to lead to future instructional opportunities, advancing your career in education.

Start date : Thursday November 27, 2025

End date : Friday December 19, 2025

Rate Range : $33.00-$35.00 / hour

Schedule : Monday to Friday (8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality instruction in lab, and clinical settings.
• Execute lesson plans using preset curriculum that aligns with PTIRU compliance (extensive in‑house curriculum orientation and training provided).
• Provide hands‑on training and supervision in clinical environments.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
• Stay current with best practices and developments in nursing education.
