Canada Post is seeking an Electrician to perform maintenance and repairs to all types of electrical and electro-mechanical mail processing, mail handling and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative and system maintenance
• Read and interpret schematic, blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications
• Assist in and perform trouble shooting
• Apply testing and diagnostic procedures
• Perform installation and removal of equipment as required
• Perform adjusting, repair and overhaul work on mail handling, mail processing and related equipment as breakdowns occur
• Ensure that equipment is operating effectively and efficiently
• Plans and organizes their workload
• Communicate effectively
• Complete documentation
