Registered Pharmacy Technician

We’re looking for a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the retail pharmacy industry.

The Registered Pharmacy Technician will play a key role in supporting pharmacists, ensuring accurate medication preparation, and contributing to a positive, patient-friendly environment.

Registered Pharmacy Technician responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications in accordance with prescriptions and regulatory standards
• Perform final checks within the BC Registered Pharmacy Technician scope of practice
• Support blister packaging, compliance packaging, and prescription transfers
• Maintain and document accurate patient records
• Assist with third party billing and resolving insurance issues
• Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and professional standards
• Collaborate closely with pharmacists and other team members
• Manage pharmacy inventory including ordering, receiving, and restocking medications
• Provide friendly and professional service to customers in person and over the phone
• Support daily pharmacy operations to ensure smooth workflow
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development initiatives

The successful candidate has:

• Completion of a recognized Pharmacy Technician program
• Active registration with CPBC (College of Pharmacists of BC) in good standing
• Current CPR certification valid in British Columbia
• Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment
• Experience with Kroll considered an asset
• Strong knowledge of British Columbia pharmacy legislation and regulatory requirements

Compensation and benefits:

• Hourly pay range: $60,000 to $80,000 annually, competitive within the BC market depending on experience
