Technical Project Manager

In this role, you will work directly with Fortinet's ITOperationsTeam for new infrastructure and service deployment. You will be required to define and refine service and infrastructure specifications. You will need to work closely and coordinate with internal teams to design, develop, and deploy new services into production. You need to follow through on production with proactive and strategic actions that help achieve corporate growth objectives, through innovative, persistent, and conscientious efforts. Technical knowledge in network, internet, Data Center deployment, CP / IP, firewalls, routers, switches, VPN, IPS, Antivirus, Web Filtering, Antispam will help you to achieve successful project outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

• Successfully lead assigned projects from initiation to closing.
• Review technical requirements from network and infrastructure teams to define project requirements and create a Bill of Materials.
• Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to develop deployment documentation.
• Drive troubleshooting, or mitigation efforts on issues that arise during projects, and work with infrastructure teams to implement remedial solutions.
• Work closely and coordinate with internal teams and manage contract suppliers to keep projects on schedule.
• Develop project plans based on inputs from various internal teams, and business owners.
• Communicate with stakeholders at all levels, and proactively communicate project requirements, risks, and statuses.
• Create and manage documentation, review and control ensure quality of writing, for all project documents and repository’s.
• Lead and attendmeetings (in-person and online) on a regular basis with contract suppliers and internal cross-functional teams to review / track project status and critical tasks assigned.
• Analyze components in designs, quoting proposals, quality indexes, supplier performance and production forecast / build plan.
• Raise Purchase Orders, and facilitate the approval of contracts through legal reviews.

Educational Requirement

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $106,000 - $130,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
