Business Intelligence Engineer

Job description

HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Business Intelligence Engineer to empower teams and leadership with actionable metrics and visualizations that uphold safety and operational efficiency as the company moves toward commercial deployment.

In this role, you will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement BI solutions that provide visibility into safety clearance and milestone tracking.

The ideal candidate is a skilled BI professional with strong SQL and visualization expertise, experienced in building scalable data models and delivering actionable insights that drive business decisions.

As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you'll :

• Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver automated, actionable data solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data models and ETL pipelines for high-quality data assets.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to establish accurate, consistent metrics.
• Create and maintain impactful dashboards and visualizations that support decision-making.
• Promote data literacy through self-service tools and training.
• Champion best practices in reporting, including data integrity, scalability, validation, and documentation.
• Translate business requirements into reliable data assets and support analytics under tight deadlines.

Commitment : This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It will be onsite and available to candidates who are local to the Foster City, CA area.
