Role and Responsibilities :

• Execute audits and reviews of our clients from planning to completion.
• Prepare corporate tax returns, personal tax returns, T5013 Partnership Returns, T3 Trust Returns, T4 / T4A / NR4 / T5 Information Slips, T5001 Tax Shelter Slips, GST and EHT Returns, ETD calculations, WSIB calculations.
• Preparation of file, financial statements and draft tax returns, general rep. letter, ability to distinguish between compilation & assurance files, and various tax schedules within CaseWare.
• Devise appropriate engagement program including risk analysis and materiality.
• Apply Grewal Guyatt's audit and accounting practices / methodologies on client engagements.
• Provide on the job coaching and mentorship to junior staff members.
• Keep abreast of accounting trends and legislation.
• Manage concurrent assignments.
• Work closely with the administrative assistant team for client onboarding, proper processing and filing of documentation and overseeing the workflow.
• Enter daily timesheet in CCH, attend scheduled meetings, and maintain consistent communication with colleague for client engagement status.
