POSITION SUMMARY
The Advisor will provide financial planning advice and ongoing client servicing to a segment of client accounts nationally. The Advisor will ensure that regulatory compliance requirements are adhered to in all their activities. This position is also responsible for delivering financial planning advice and an outstanding client experience.
DUTIES INCLUDE :
Manage day-to-day priorities servicing inbound / outbound client, proactive campaigns and retention activities.
Provide financial planning advice - assist with estate planning, debt management, insurance and mortgage.
Meet all standards of financial planning and advice and ensure regulatory guidelines are adhered to during all interactions.
Manage escalations - review each issue with consideration, collaborate with other business units, initiate appropriate action to be taken to resolve any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Contribute to departmental initiatives - participate in growth of our share of wallet and implementation of IG Wealth Connect strategies.
Responsible for servicing activities for registered and non-registered accounts. Activities include updating account information, processing financial and non-financial requests, quality control, responding to service requests, follow up and adjustments.
Ensure procedural, regulatory, compliance and departmental policies are followed.
Identify opportunities for business and process improvements and implement changes as developed by management team.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Ability to multi-task in an extremely diverse fast-paced environment.
Solution oriented, an excellent problem solver with proficiency in financial planning.
Performance-driven high achiever with great sales skills.
Mutual fund, mortgage and / or insurance industry background, including product knowledge, processing and compliance.
Post-Secondary or equivalent in business or a relevant field. IFIC Mutual Fund or Canadian Securities Course. Certified Financial Planner designation is an asset.
Knowledge of French and English is required in Québec to support clients and Team members within and / or outside the province of Quebec.
Strong awareness of respectful workplace policies, ensuring an inclusive professional environment.
Minimum of 4 years experience in the financial services industry.
Practical experience with a CRM and the Office Suite.
The expected annual base salary range for this role is $52 500 - $ 72 500, which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual short-term incentive, health and well-being benefits, retirement and savings plan, paid time off and career development.
