We're searching for an Insurance Advisor , Fleet Services based out of our Head Office in Surrey, BC . Are you searching for new possibilities?

In the role of Insurance Advisor , Fleet Services, you will represent Westland Insurance Group Ltd. and be part of a specialized team of auto insurance agents in Westland's Fleet department. Your role includes certain administrative responsibilities in addition to interacting with internal / external clients over the phone, via email and in the office.

Expected Compensation : The expected annual hiring range for this role is $46,592 to $58,240 with a 35 hour work week. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience, while considering internal equity.

Why we'll love You :

  • Valid level 1 insurance agent license an asset but not required (successful applicants will be required to obtain their level 1 license within probation period)
  • 6 months+ as a licensed insurance broker, including ICBC Autoplan, an asset but not required
  • Prior experience with ICBC Fleet, Garage and Prorate transactions is an asset, but not required. New hires will receive ample on the job training.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Once here, you'll :

  • Be a member of our inclusive culture working with an extraordinarily talented community of people with a wide variety of backgrounds.
  • Processing ICBC transactions including new submissions, midterm changes, renewals, and new Fleet status quotes.
  • Liaising with ICBC departments to meet client's needs.
  • Answering the phone and directing calls to Fleet Account Executives or Manager as necessary.
  • Servicing client's needs through email, over the phone or in the office.
  • Help maintain an organized and clean ICBC batch filing system.
  • Generating fleet spreadsheets and data entry.
  • Delivering transactions and inventory to clients (as licensing allows).
  • Assist with Fleet department batching and inventory management
