Wexxar Packaging a proud member of the ProMach family we dont just build machineswe build the future of packaging innovation. As the Director of Engineering you will provide strategic leadership and operational direction to a multi-disciplinary engineering team responsible for developing and supporting our product lines. Reporting directly to the Vice President / General Manager you will play a pivotal role in aligning engineering strategies with business objectives fostering a lean and innovative culture and enhancing cross-functional collaboration to drive performance and continuous improvement.

• Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute strategic engineering plans that support company growth efficiency and innovation.
• Team Development : Provide leadership mentorship and oversight to engineering managers across product lines ensuring clear communication and alignment of departmental objectives. Build organizational capabilities through skills gap assessments coaching and professional development programs.
• Lean Champion : Champion Lean principles across engineering functions to promote a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams (Product Management Sales Supply Chain Operations Service) to ensure engineering output aligns with business needs.
• Project Oversight : Oversee project executionincluding planning resource management timelines and deliverablesensuring on-time and within-budget completion.
• Innovation Driver : Drive innovation cost optimization and design improvements without compromising product performance quality or safety.
• Compliance : Maintain compliance with regulatory and internal standards ensuring engineering practices meet industry and corporate benchmarks.
