Reading Tutor

As a tutor for Cosmo 1 : 1, you will have a flexible and consistent schedule that you set. We teach math, ELA, and SAT classes and have Cosmo provided learning plans for our tutors to use.

This is the perfect opportunity for experienced educators to connect with students in an after-school setting. You will meet with your students at a set time each week for 50-minute 1-on-1 lessons. As a Cosmo 1 : 1 tutor you will build a welcoming and fun learning environment for your student as you help them grow. It is important for our teachers to be reliable role models for our students who come to class well prepared, on time, and with a passionate and kind demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for your students
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability
• Submit class feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff
