GENERAL FUNCTION

The Deal Clerk will be responsible for various aspects of the dealership’s accounting operations.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Process vehicle deals
• Ensure collection of all funding on vehicle sales, manufacturer incentives
• Register warranties, if applicable
• Maintain the dealership sales journal
• Ensure that all vehicle deals are OMVIC compliant
• Complete remittances for after-market products Make payment for chattels

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE

• Must be computer literate and familiarity with PBS
• One to three years of automotive dealership experience is preferred
• A practical background in related accounting with specific experience in Accounting Receivables, Payables or as a General Accounting clerk is essential
• Solid interpersonal and communication abilities
• Experience in posting Chrysler vehicle deals
• The ability to work extended hours at month end and year end closings, if applicable
• Must be detail oriented, accurate and extremely organized
