Team Lead

Lifemark Father David Bauer Arena Calgary has assembled an outstanding team of highly experienced physiotherapists to treat orthopedic and sports related injuries, as well as work-related and motor vehicle accident injuries with physiotherapy, massage therapy, acupuncture, and many other services.

We are seeking a Team Lead to contribute to our return to work program!

In this role your duties may include:

• Promoting a climate of success and the highest level of service within the clinic by strong supportive leadership and a positive attitude
• Performing 1:1 monthly meetings with RTW team members to review performance.
• Working closely with our WCB return to work team and the staff at WCB to provide exemplary care in returning patients to their work and livelihoods.
• Facilitate weekly interdisciplinary team meetings
• Ensuring quality improvement in the delivery of patient care.
• Performing chart audits (reviewing treatment plans for accuracy, clinical reasoning & program selection)
• Maintaining standards for communication (charts, letters, telephone) with all stakeholders
• Participating in continuing education (internal & external as required)

Qualifications:

• Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program
• Registration with or eligibility for registration with the Alberta Kinesiology Association (AKA)
• 2+ years of clinical experience is considered an asset
• Experienced in WCB assessments is considered an asset
