Robert Half currently has a three-month contract to hire opportunity in the Coquitlam area for a highly-skilled and motivated Human Resources Assistant. The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for supporting the recruitment team with onboarding, background checks, and sourcing for new hires. Your responsibilities in this role

- Onboarding new hires

- Maintain employee database records

- Perform background checks

- Source for new hires

Job Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

- Approachable and appropriate demeanor when interacting with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing environment

- Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects

- Advanced in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

- Foundational knowledge in Prescreening

- Deep understanding of Administrative Assistance

- Onboarding experience required

- Data entry experience desired
